SaaS platform development, Oct. 2020 – Oct. 2023
In the Fall 2020, the project started with the aim of migration in which the old cloud based core system has been evolved into that of SaaS architecture (in terms of delivery service architecture).
Joined in a project concerning of the old system nearly for a year, we have been offered and engaged in the comprehensive design including SaaS-specific operation design that is to be fit in the requirements; shortly the “semi-automation of the delivery”.
A slogan of the project, “On-premise to the SaaS”, might sound somewhat blindly estimated the features of SaaS since it had long been unsolved to understand and/or realize the variance of a “configurable”-system upon which a operational scenario is probable.
After a thoughtful research and case studies, we attained a rough sketch of an architecture model that evaluates what is to be SaaS as a big picture of overall design.
A survey research played a big role in analyzing and stipulating a controversially undefinable deployment architecture, i.e. SaaS, in which the client’s requirements are expressible (c.f. S. Banerjee., “A survey on Software as a service (SaaS) using quality model in cloud computing”).
Those client’s requirements have been summarized in a form of PoC for which we had investigated for a long period of time, sometimes interactively and sometimes with a document-based communication.
